THE ACT3 (ARTIST COLLECTIVE TRAINING) WORKSHOPS & CLINIC
Intensive actor training over 4 weekly evening sessions commencing June 6th, 2024
Group workshops will start at 18.45 each Thursday. One-to-one sessions will be scheduled from 18.00 by mutual agreement
Each workshop is devised with a holistic approach to artist development, rejuvenating skills and refining performance technique through script work, improvisation and clowning. During the course each participant will have access to one-to-one mentoring or a career health-check for individual concerns.
“This little gem I’m bringing to you I’m super excited about because it is for you - the artist, that wants to continue to thrive, to develop, to explore, to play, to progress and to do it in the most holistic way possible. I have developed a series of four evening workshops especially for the artist that wants to reconnect with that tool that is them. You are the vehicle through which you extract your creativity and share that gift with the world” Eve Duah
“I wanted to start 2024 in a positive environment where I could learn plenty, challenge myself and have a lot of fun. Mission accomplished. Thank you to Absolute Theatre for a great experience.” Google review
“I would 100 per cent recommend this to other people; friends who are actors, to directors, writers, anyone! I think it's a really important class, really safe… it's been incredible” ACT 1 feedback
“I was taught by Evelyn Duah. Evelyn was probably the first person that believed in me and saw what I had and made me aware of it. I feel I wouldn’t be the actor that I am, I wouldn’t make the choices that I have made if it wasn’t for Evelyn. She’s an incredible teacher.” Daniel Kaluuya
