Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Dominion Theatre in London on May 16th, 2024, at the Sister Act Charity Gala.
This inaugural Charity Gala is aimed at supporting the development of queer and LGBTQ+ friendly representation in TV, film, and games and promises to be a spectacular occasion, featuring a special West End performance of the hit musical, Sister Act, starring Beverley Knight MBE and Ruth Jones.
Taking place on the eve of the 2024 International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the Gala aims to raise funds for the #KindQueerHeart campaign – an initiative developed In partnership with LGBT Great and OKRE charity. This project is designed to accelerate the development of new queer-friendly content, promoting visibility and representation of marginalised communities, including queer people of colour, and trans and non-binary individuals.
Thanks to the generous support of Simon Ruddick, Trustee of the OKRE Charity, and Chair of Albourne Partners, 50 tickets have been allocated to Diversity Role Models to be used for our own fundraising. These tickets are available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going towards Diversity Role Models and our vital work in promoting diversity and inclusion in classrooms and combating LGBTQ+ bullying in schools.
We believe this event is not only an opportunity to support a worthy cause of LGBTQ+ representation but also a chance to come together as a community and spread love and positivity. With tickets priced at only £50 each, the aim is to fill the theatre with warmth and support, ensuring 'no shows' and empty seats are kept to a minimum.
Purchase a ticket today and join us as a guest of Diversity Role Models at the Sister Act Charity Gala, at what promises to be an unforgettable event.
