For people who like coffee but want to try out poetry. ☕🖊️
Idea is simple, come and enjoy a coffee, hear some poems, and then write some poems together.
Poetry is always for the everyday, and there’s a misconception that poetry isn’t. People over complicate it and it sometimes feels inaccessible. I want more people to experience the joy of it. I started the club so we can meet in a relaxed space and write poetry together. All exercises are perfect for beginners and there's no right way to make poetry. At each event I've tried something new as we're still learning. There has been special guests, unique prompts and different writing tools.
For this club, we're going to be at the incredible Ducie Street Warehouse. We'll be in the Atrium space which is going to be a wonderful vibe for creativity.
The session will be hosted by Louis Glazzard at Ducie Street Warehouse. For the coffee we will set up a tab so it's included in your ticket price.
Ducie Street Warehouse is Manchester’s social hub, where you can do anything and be anything. At Ducie Street, a bustling community thrives. We’re more than a melting pot; we’re a collision of Manchester’s rich cultures and stories. Here, you’re not just welcomed; you’re celebrated for exactly who you are. We all have the freedom to be ourselves. Right. Ducie Street is your playground, where there’s something for everyone.
