In marking of Black History Month JUBI JUBI calls in a jovial commemoration of African and Caribbean Queer Beings in recollection of our roots and heritage through hosting an extravagant hall party! Our tailor-made programming is arranged between 3 spaces with promise in providing a unique rendition to our infamous hall parties, tribute to Black Sounds and Reflective space to regroup and relax. Our goal is to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere as we come dressed head to toe in our best traditional regalia, indulge in tasty African & Caribbean Cuisine, experience our Mini Ball, explore our various rooms, and dance the night away.
JUBI JUBI plays an integral second event at Mon Plaisir and C’est Chaud Club as we’ll be utilizing this opportunity in furthering our purpose and mission towards creating safer kink/bdsm spaces for QWOC and NBTPOC. The Main Hall hosts our Hall Party encapsulating entertaining MCs, performances, a varied cuisine from LoveGiftVegan & Wellhealthorganics, mini ball, and DJs throughout programming. The Café Space holds our Sanctuary section featuring Specially crafted Herbal Teas from Un Peu De Thé, Sweet Treats by Nova Bakery, Massage Therapy from Aisha’s Heals and Tarot Reading from Mara Livermore of The House of Sweet Waters. The Scene Dock transports us into the second edition of Gardenia: The Land of Kush consisting of transmissions, an exhibition and DJs keeping you on your feet all night long. We are super elated to have you join us in our full euphoric affair, so come down and Jubi Jubi with us!
