Labia Lessons is a workshop that is all about the vulva. During this 90 minute event you will learn everything you need to know about the vulva that you didn't get taught at school.
We'll look at photos of vulvas and discuss vulva diversity, including some facts about all the ways vulvas are different from one another.
I'll explain what all the parts are, what they do and how to look after them.
We discuss language and why it's so important to know your labia from your 'front bottom'.
Whether you think you are a vulva novice or a bit of a vulva pro, you will learn new facts and leave feeling prouder of and more in love with vulvas than ever before.
Previous partiers have said "you've made me realise I'm normal" and "I had no idea vulvas all looked so different".
Where?
Zoom!
Who's welcome?
Absolutely everybody is welcome - you do not need to have a vulva to attend. Cis, trans, NB, vulva owners, penis owners, everyone.
Am I also raising money for a bloody good charity by coming to this event?
YES! A third of all profits goes straight to Bloody Good Period, the people giving period products to those that need them. People like asylum seekers, refugees and rough sleepers. Feels good, huh?
Who is This is a Vulva?
Hello, I'm Jo. I'm the founder of This is a Vulva. It's a sex education project that helps us learn what vulvas are (not vaginas), what they look like and what is normal (spoiler, it's all normal). It's about understanding vulvas, celebrating their diversity and ultimately reducing the number of people wanting labiaplasty because they think their labia look 'wrong'.
I run an Instagram feed full of vulvas, information and stories about my pubic hair, plus I run these events because I love talking about and making vulvas.
