Knickerbocker marks the passing of Valentine's day with a Saved-by-the-Bell meets Britney meets Fred-from-First-Dates aesthetic, sound tracked by the kind of oracularly orgasmic music you've come to expect from East London's friendliest queer club. Expect treats at break time and surprises throughout the night
Will this year's Valentines be more Heartstopper than Heartbreak? All saccharine romances MUST be left at the school gates - this is one night only where group work is strongly encouraged and no student can be left behind.
It's 10pm, and the bell rings to mark the opening of Knickerbocker's Heartbreak High. Prefects Lawless, Zimbra and Rata throws open the club gates to welcome the unruly, horny (but really quite discerning) class of 2023 heartbreakers. The Bears on the football team have already tangoed a twink in the toilet, and the number of students pursuing English, History of Art and Drama instead of STEM subjects is of serious concern to the school board.
Knickerbocker is East London's friendliest queer dance party. As ever, no racism; misogyny; transphobia; homophobia, body, slut or kink shaming will be tolerated. Seriously. We want Knickerbocker to be a welcoming party for all, and it's everyone's responsibility to help create a welcoming space. Please look after yourselves and respect each other.
Knickerbocker stands with our trans family members. If your attendance is dependent on a safe carriage home, drop us a message as we have a small budget to ensure our trans pals get home safely, but this is first come first served.
We also have a limited skint list. If you are broke but need to dance then drop us a message and we'll see what we can do.
