- Learn about crop planning, seeds and propagation, bed preparation and planting, composting and living soil. All using nature-friendly, climate-friendly, no-dig methodology.
- Hands-on harvesting, tasting and foraging for wild salad leaves.
- Coffee, cakes, and home-cooked lunch provided.
- Bag of delicious salad to take home.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who wants to learn more about no dig, permaculture and regenerative horticulture, and applying these principles to grow food that has people and community at its heart. This could be for you if you’ve never grown your own food before, you’re a home gardener who wants to up your game with hints and tips from a market garden, or you’re interested in the health and wellbeing aspects of regenerative horticulture and how these can be applied in a food production setting. The course is also well suited to anyone considering working in a regenerative market garden who’d like to know more about what’s involved and potential students of our more in-depth courses.
Cost
We wanted to make these events radically affordable because everyone needs to know about food growing, regardless of their financial situation. So we're operating on a pay-what-you-can basis with suggested ticket prices on a sliding scale - you decide which tier to pay. We really do need you to pay a fair price for your ticket though so we can keep these events running so please do give generously according to your means 🙏

About Rock Farm
Rock Farm is a therapeutic growing project open to everyone, which restores both the land and people through an innovative market garden model. We grow fruit and vegetables using regenerative, permaculture, and no-dig principles, with absolutely zero pesticides or herbicides.
