LAST CHANCE SUMMER FLING! WITH FLICK D'BEAN
You don't need us to tell you it's been a tough few months. We didn't get the summer we deserved, not at all. But never fear, it's not too late...
On 26th August, United Shapes of Drag make their long-awaited return to The Apple Tree, with a fabulous lineup of socially-distanced drag to give you that summer party you deserve! It's going to be a fun-filled fabulous evening where we'll take all the necessary precautions to keep you safe, whilst allowing you to escape to a fantasy world of colourful, exciting, and queer AF drag. And guess what... there's a happy hour for ticket holders in the hour before each show!
The lineup includes:
Our host, Flick D'bean
Carrot
Scarlett Love
V Da Loca
Penny Comequick
and our uber super awesome amazing special guest, Cyro.
TICKETING
Unlike our usual Apple Tree shows, this event will be taking place in the downstairs bar of the Apple Tree and you must buy a ticket in advance of the show. There is going to be two shows on the evening - the early show and the late show - please see the schedule below and make sure you buy a ticket for the correct show. The venue will be cleaned thoroughly between shows.
Tickets will be sold in groups as 'tables', and you are required to sit with members of your household or social bubble. Ticket holders will receive discounts on drinks in the 'happy hour' leading up to the start of the show they have bought a ticket for.
There are very limited numbers for each show, so if you have a group size bigger or smaller than what we have listed, please get in touch with us on unitedshapesofdrag@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do for you.
Most tables work out at roughly £6.50 per head, which is great value considering you're getting 6 incredible drag performers and pre-show drinks discounts, however you are welcome to buy a table of 3 and seat only 2 at it (for example) if necessary.

ABOUT USoD
We formed way back in April 2018 - after Draguating from the Art of Drag course at the RVT. Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength, our aim being to create more space for Drag and Queer performers to have a voice and feel empowered.
From burlesque to stand-up, lipsync to live vocals, kings to queens to in-betweens, USoD represent many of the shapes Drag can take and basically throw the whole 'Drag' rule book out the window.
OTHER STUFF TO NOTE
We will be creating a safe space for queers and allies to feel comfortable and be themselves. With that in mind, this event will run on a DBAD (don't be a dick) policy - we reserve the right to ask anyone who breaks this to leave without refund. Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism and non-consensual touching of any kind will not be condoned.
We also run a NOTAFLOF (no one turned away from lack of funds) scheme. If you would like to make use of this, please get in touch with us on unitedshapesofdrag@gmail.com using the subject line 'NOTAFLOF', no questions will be asked. We trust only those who need to will use this.
Finally, the ground floor at The Apple Tree is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. If you have any further access needs, require a carer ticket, or if we can do anything to make this show more accessible for you, please do not hesitate to get in touch at unitedshapesofdrag@gmail.com.
