Harnessing the energy of old school sketch comedy, they also put their own unique stamp on everything they do! Alongside their sketches, the produce and host an event called Big Night Out, which champions under represented queer talent.
Josh Royale: Musical Comedian
Josh Royale is a song and dance man from the North East of England. His works seamlessly interweave the haunting melancholia of squandered youth with psychedelic Lovecraftian erotica and an incandescent political fervour far beyond his years. Into this, he seamlessly interweaves his disarming sense of wonderment, an intense love of racket sports, and a quality Baudrillard would have described as 'le mise en papier du visée fragilement'. He is currently developing an immersive musical experience based on the hit detective series, 'Taggart'.
Karima Francis: Singer-Songwriter
Francis packed up and headed for LA in search of her new sound after hearing The War on Drugs’ ‘Lost In A Dream’. Though Adam Granduciel and co inspired the move, it was the state’s burgeoning singer-songwriter scene that ended up becoming Francis’ primary source of inspiration. The organic, grounded songcraft of up-and-comers Johanna Samuels, Frankie Lee, and Gold Star stirred the London-based songwriter to take up the dusky, earnest sound which she brought into being alongside another major LA discovery for Francis, producer and Perfume Genius drummer, Tim Carr.
