Shedding Histories is the dynamic rare groove party set up by selectors Bena & Chameleonas. It has become known for its focus on creating an open-ended dance featuring diverse sounds from across the spectrum including jazz, psych, reggae, aftobeat and funk. Fresh from her Asia tour, the Shedding Histories crew will be joined for the second time by the outstanding DJ and selector Donna Leake. Donna has made a name for herself through her enchanting all-vinyl sets featuring left-field yet danceable selections which cross multiple genres. She is a resident on London’s NTS radio and plays across the world at some of the best venues and festivals. Welcoming her to Margate will be a real treat for the ears and feet, and one that surely cannot be missed.
