the blaq agenda presents revive: slow jams yoga for BIPOC fam & their friends.
supported by Moonlight Experiences
Join us at Glasshouse as we begin the new year with a restorative yoga session hosted by our friends over at the blaq agenda, a US-based collective deeply examining the aspects of intersectionality found in the LGBTQIA community. Led by Karla Huffman (300 E-RYT)) and DJ’d by Elijah McKinnon (aka Messy Miss Demeanor) this 75-minute meditative yoga session will invite guests to explore their intentions for the year through honest movements, dynamic breaths, and expansive affirmations — all set to Slow Jams and R&B.
This is the perfection session if you:
- Want to ease back into movement/mediation
- Create more breathe and expansion in your body
- Explore how movement and sound create higher vibrations
This session is free to attend. Space is limited and prioritized to individuals that identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC. Yoga mats will be provided.
RSVP is required for entry.
Wellness & Protection:
In an attempt to keep our community brave and safe during the rise of COVID-19 we will encourage all guests to social distance, provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative LFT test taken within the past 24 hours of the session. For questions, thoughts or dreams please reach out to theblaqagenda.com.
Accessibility:
This session will take place at Glasshouse London which is located on the ground floor at the corner of Brick Lane and Bethnal Green in Shoreditch. Attendees will have to travel down a flight of stairs to access the room where the yoga session will take place.
About the blaq agenda:

Through intentionally curated experiences, gatherings and initiatives TBA aims to amplify the unique ways queer people of the diaspora cultivate joy, manifest pleasure and expand the ways share, learn and build opportunities for their identities to flourish.
