FAQ:
How do I book a class?
For private & corporate bookings, please get in touch at meganprestonelliott@gmail.com. Follow Clay Wild on Outsavvy for tickets to public events in Brighton & London!
Is there a minimum/maximum number of people for a private class?
Yes - there is a class minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 (depending on the space size). For any larger corporate events, please get in touch.
Do I need to wear gloves?
No gloves needed! If you wear gloves you'll find it hard to work with the clay as it will stick to them. The clay will wash off your hands easily. However, if you have long nails, you might want to trim them (don't worry if you'd prefer not to, we'll be using tools where you can smooth out any nail marks.)
How long does the clay take to dry?
Approximately 2-3 days. You'll notice when you work with the clay that it's quite moist to the touch and darker grey in colour. When it dries it will be a lighter grey and feel a bit dusty to the touch. You'll get a box to take your creation home in safely.
Won't I need a pottery wheel, like in the film Ghost?
No - Clay Wild utilises hand-building techniques with minimal equipment required, meaning that the clay workshops are easily accessible to all! (Sorry if this has shattered your Ghost dreams)
