Myra DuBois is a multi-awarding as seen on television star of stage and screens both large and small; and she’d be the first to remind you. Self-declaring herself to be ‘The Siren from South Yorkshire’, Myra is a 21st Century renaissance woman! An accomplished actress, poet, muse, wellness guru, Gemini and (dare we forget) singer, Myra has accrued legions of faithful disciples, her beloved AdMyras, since exploding onto the London stage in 2008 after a previous life of Working Men’s Clubs and amateur dramatics in her native Rotherham.
Perhaps you’ve seen Myra on one of the exciting cabaret stages of the capital, including Madam Jojo’s, the London Hippodrome and the infamous Royal Vauxhall Tavern to name but three. Did you catch her Christmas show, ‘We Wish You A Myra Christmas’ which has played at the Charring Cross Theatre, Soho Theatre and Southbank Centre? Or could it be that you saw her critically acclaimed solo show ‘Dead Funny’ at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe or its international debut at the Sydney Opera House?
