Musician, DJ, Drag Performer
London based artist Viktor Victoria first emerged during the rise of Electroclash in the early noughties..
A unique performer with a defiantly non conforming gender identity and a striking stage act, Viktor quickly became one of the scenes most noted performers, touring in Europe and America.
Viktor went on to sign with a number of independent labels in London, which led to their song ‘Dreamy Eyes’ being released on the cult classic ‘Kashpoint’ compilation album, a showcase of the scenes most popular artists.
Viktor’s music marries a love of electronic and dance genres with classic pop, and they have worked with a host of different producers and writers including Leigh Bowery’s musical partner Richard Torry and Russell Lissack of Bloc Party.
Viktor launched ’T-Party’ a nightclub for the Transgender community which ran successfully into 2016, when Viktor founded a vocal group of the same name. The T-Party girl group had much success within the LGBTQ community, and went on to win Best vocal group at the LGBT Sparkle Awards in 2017.
During lockdown in 2020, Viktor began working on new music at home, and a whole collection of songs soon took shape. These songs will form the album 'Dream out Loud' set to be released early 2023. The first track to be released is 'Dancing tonight' which features Princess Julia and Sharon Le Grand. The song is both a celebration and a yearning for a return to the good times and sense of community found in nightlife.
Throughout the years, Viktor has also maintained a career as a Makeup Artist and became in demand behind the scenes, working with other musicians such as Peaches, Florence & the Machine and for photographers and magazines such as Juergen Teller and ID.
During lockdown Viktor created their own makeup brand ‘Dream in Colour’ which launched June 2021. Dream in Colour celebrates Queer & Trans beauty, and aims to raise money for LGBTQ+ charities.
