Imagine a world where Black women, femmes, girls, and non-binary people flourish.
Join the Black Feminist Bookshop for our pop-up series at The Feminist Library.
This November we’re bringing you books, vibes, and a physical space inspired by the beauty and legacy of Black women's resistance, imagination, and care.
Those of us who live on the margins bear the brunt of capitalism's violent social and economic systems. To survive and thrive, Black women, femmes, and non-binary people have a long history of creating spaces for joy, wholeness, and freedom; our response to oppression has always been collective, because there is no liberation without community.
We’ve put together a bookshop, an events schedule, and a place to hang out to foster conversations, resource-sharing, and to bring together a community committed to radical social change.
Come thru for books, music, and new friends.
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."
— Maya Angelou
