Accessibility
The theatre and bar are both completely accessible for wheelchairs, we have an accessible toilet situated next to the bar and are happy to adjust any available seating to suit specific requirements. Everything’s super flexible!
Lighting is low in the bar area and the theatre during shows especially, music is also often loud and often the theatre space has bright or flickering show lighting depending on the events.
Sadly the rehearsal room and balcony are both situated upstairs however access for these is never required for enjoying our public events.
We have a resident cat who spends a lot of time in the building, if you have allergies please let us know and we will try and make sure she is at her other home or kept outside (Dogs are welcome however because we love dog’s and she can stand up for herself/hide!)
Please email any questions to piehouse@matchsticktheatre.com or camptransfest@gmail.com
Funding
The funding will be used to pay the artists and writers fairly, equipment to facilitate the workshops and performances, venue hire, security and catering. In order to make the event accessible for people of low income the ticket price has to be kept to a minimum.
