We are so excited to welcome you to Love Club & Friends Brighton Creativity Retreat!
Following a sold out London event, we are back and better than ever with a full day of yoga, life-drawing, creative-writing and pottery to fill your boots with, and reignite your creative spark.
Join Polly (she/her) from Love Club, Lou Thomas (they/them) from Bits & Pieces and Megan Elliott (she/her) from Clay Wild Studio as we play with various art forms to bring you some winter joy, calm and fun.
The retreat day takes place in The Studio space in Hanover, Brighton, BN2 3PF, with plenty of space to move around.
Our aim is to allow your creativity to flow, your bodies to move a bit, and hopefully have lots of fun in the process, with lovely likeminded people.
The day will begin with a group meditation and check in, followed by a gentle but energising yoga class, led by Polly from Love Club. We've then enlisted the help of some of our amazingly talented friends...
After a coffee and some cake, Lou Thomas (they/them) will be running a Bits & Pieces Life-Drawing and Creative Writing workshop to explore and connect with ideas, self and community.
In the afternoon, Megan (she/her) from Clay Wild Studio will be taking us through an accessible pottery workshop, using hand-building techniques, helping you to connect with your own wild, and unlock your own creativity.
The whole day aims to encourage your innate creativity, meet you where you are, and show you that you (yes, you!) have endless pools of creativity.
There will be lots of breaks for coffee, tea and cake (provided), and you are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase some nearby.

Megan is trained in Fine Art and holds pottery classes for a wide range of people in different settings: corporate, schools, community, and private events. She regularly teaches queer classes in collaboration with Sappho Events at Glass House London and at The Queery, Brighton.
