Shelf are a comedy double act made up of Rachel WD and Ruby Clyde. Already lifelong friends, they started performing as Shelf in 2015, honing a style that blends standup with musical comedy.
Shelf have performed across the UK comedy and festival circuits and their work has appeared on NextUp, LADBible, and on BBC3 with over one million views. They were featured as part of Penguin’s audiobook Edinburgh Unlocked in 2020. Finalists: Sketchfest’s Best New Act 2016; Funny Women 2020; Musical Comedy Awards 2020.

ELZ: is a gossip turned poet turned singer turned comic hailing from Thanet (the isle of). She runs her own night BABESLAM in Margate and is really hoping to learn to do the splits this year. “A portable party” - Steve Todd

Heidi has been writing comedy for over ten years and writing about herself in the third person for over ten minutes now. She moved to London from Australia 11 years ago. She won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2017 & So You Think You're Funny in 2016. She has performed tour support for Joe Lycett, Milton Jones, Tez Ilyas, Tom Houghton and The Guilty Feminist Podcast.
We want to carve a space on the comedy circuit proffering an antidote to the so-called “culture wars,” by creating space for unity & celebration rather than division. All are welcome to these nights to support the talent & shining of our wonderful queer community! The only exclusion we have is hate.
