The London Royals Hockey Club is proud to present the Trans Sports Day!
A wonderful day for trans/non-binary folk to try a new sport, meet likeminded people and have some fun! We know there can be many barriers for trans and non-binary people to get involved in sport and we're trying to help by bringing together a range of LGBTQ+ inclusive clubs to give you a bit of a taster session! We'll also be putting on a panel discussion during the day too to discuss trans inclusion in sport. The whole day is completely free to attend and there will be some yummy food and goodies available too!
BIG thanks to the amazing Out for Sport and Nike London for supporting us through their Diversity in Sport Grant.
If you are part of an inclusive sports club and want to get involved - drop us a message!
Structure for the day
30 min ice breaker/welcome and warm up
2 hours sports - split into four sessions so people can try different sports or sit out if they need a break. We have the ability to add multiple sports at once as more clubs sign up.
