A high intensity interval training (HIIT) Bags and Kettlebell workout in Hackney Wick!
What is a HIIT?!? you may ask
HIIT is a form of cardiovascular training made of high intensity bursts of exercise alternated with a recovery period or low intensity exercise. There are many different shapes of this kind of workout but this is what we are going to do:
- we are going to have stations! Some will have weights, some bags, some pads.
- 45s of intense activity (by intense I mean anything that feels like effort to you)
- 30s rest
We are going to use light weights and do Muay Thai movements for this.
Flex, sweat, punch and kick! You have all that it takes to join, no experience needed!

This gym has big wall mirrors in the workout area.
Changing room and one shower available.
This is the plan:
- Meet at 2:50pm, please arrive on time.
- Start at 3:00pm with a warmup.
- Before we go for it, we will go over techniques of exercises
- Workout
- Stretching (ends at 4:00pm)
- Social (optional)

DIRECTIONS FROM HACKNEY WICK STATION:
Coming out of Hackney Wick station, turn right, there is a coffee shop and if you look up there is a giant yellow wall saying “HW Personal Training”. Luca will be downstairs until 2:55pm, if you miss this you will need to ring the bell to come in (it says HWPT on it).
