Join the first Disco Housewife listening/dance party on 16th May in London. Kumari Suraj is an American choreographer, dancer, and song-writer with a deep appreciation for disco and house music. As a child, Kumari was influenced heavily by disco/funk music, their parent’s fly 70s fashion, and their family members who danced on Soul Train. For the past 20 years, Kumari has been an international trailblazer and proponent for the LGBTQ+ vintage Disco dance culture, called Waacking. It is no surprise that their next single, Disco Housewife, is filled with groovy disco and house beats produced by Beatslaya.
The song title honors Kumari’s lifelong muse, their mom, the original Disco Housewife.
Honoring their dance background this listening party starts with a choreography class 7-9 pm! Learn the Disco Housewife dance routine from Kumari then prance your life away!
