DOLLS collects work from 23 years of my art practice. Mainly focussing on the most recent 3 year project of Doll making, but also reflecting on how the subjects of these dolls have influenced my other work throughout the years.
It’s a celebration of how influence shapes and changes our lives and how obsessions can continue to run and shape work into different forms.
Spread over 3 floors of the Ugly Duck premises there will be 800+ dolls (I’m still counting) and large-scale paintings, collages and drawings, lino cuts, sculptures, sound installations and artists books. My whole life and work practice laid bare.
Each day there will be live performances, artist talks and tours, storytelling events; with weekend workshops for all.
