Labia Lessons: Workshop, quiz, and crafting with Jo Corrall!

Join Jo, founder of This is a Vulva, for a fun and inclusive workshop learning everything about the vulva that they should have taught you in sex ed! Expect photos of vulvas, pube tuft chats, a period pub quiz and a chance to make your own vulva to take away with you! 

The workshop is informal but medically informed. There's no hand mirror in a circle moments and no pressure to take part, say anything or reveal any vulva stories of your own. Jo has been running This is a Vulva since 2016 and has run this workshop for hundreds of people, spreading the knowledge of what vulvas really look like and why there is no need for cosmetic labiaplasty (or 'feminine hygiene products'). She's recently published a book, This is the Vulva, to give everyone the crucial (and frankly basic) knowledge that we should all know about the vulva. This event is fun, full of feminist rants and will make you feel happier about your vulva. It's also fully inclusive and based on the knowledge that vulvas are not gendered. You do not need a vulva to attend.

Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-want basis, with a suggested price of £7. 

Please arrive at The Common Press from 1.30pm - the workshop will begin at 2 and lasts for two hours. Please be aware that the workshop is taking place in our downstairs event space, which sadly is not currently wheelchair accessible.
