Sparks brings together some of the brightest names in LGBT+ literature, performing a mixture of verse and rhyme, lyrics and love songs. At a time when tolerance and liberty are increasingly under threat, join us to celebrate the beauty of diversity during Pride month in an eclectic, warm and welcoming space.
CHARITY: Proceeds will be donated to MindOut: a mental health service run by (and for) lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBTQ) people and AKT, which supports lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the uk who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.

Joelle Taylor is an award-winning poet, playwright, author and editor. She won the 2021 T.S. Eliot Prize with her collection C+NTO & Othered Poems and her debut novel The Night Alphabet will be published by Quercus in February 2024. Joelle is the host of London’s premier night of poetry and music Out-Spoken and is a member of the curation team.
