Mamma Mia, here they go again.
It’s the second coming of everyone’s second favourite holy trinity and this time the Father Figures are taking you on an Abba Voyage to find out who’s the father, who’s the dad, and who’s the daddy. It’s a summer priest show and what could be better than pretending we’re at a straight wedding in Greece?!
Prompted by an anonymous letter (more like an Instagram post) from a secret admirer (not so secret, thanks ‘Vicar’s Daughter’!) we’ve taken all of the Holy buffoonery that you loved from our first show and mixed it in with 70s Swedish pop sensation, Abba’s campy film masterpieces. It’ll probably make sense on the night- have a little faith.
As far away from a Greek tragedy as you can get but you the audience will be our Greek chorus belting out Abba’s greatest hits in a basement in East London. You can dance, you can jive, you’ll be having the time of your life.
Join Father JC, Tim Tation, Sweet FA, and two guest performers, as we jump through the plot holes of Mamma Mia, skip through high notes of Waterloo and slap together a two hour show with no more than ‘a dream and a song to sing’!
Go on, take a chance on us!
