This event brings together a diverse range of voices, experiences, and perspectives to explore the nuances of queer identity and masculinity. Hosted by Rikki Beadle-Blair, in conversation with Adam Krishan Poli, Rico Jacob Chace, Asad and special guests.
Rikki Beadle-Blair - Host
Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE is a writer, director, composer, choreographer, designer, producer, and performer working in film, theatre, television, and radio. Having written and directed 40 plays over the last 20 years along with several feature films, shorts, and tv episodes and series, he has won several awards including the Sony Award, the Los Angeles Outfest Screenwriting, and Outstanding Achievement awards. Rikki’s passion for encouraging wellness, creativity, and business sense in others has made a committed and effective mentor to a great many writers, actors, composers and directors around the world. As week as hosting the Annual UK Black Pride Event, Rikki has hosted Voguing balls around the country for the last 15 years.
Adam Krishan Popli - Panellist
Adam Krishan Popli is a London-based visual creative who specializes in various disciplines. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media Production from the University of Arts Bournemouth (2015), Adam's work revolves around initiating discussions on human action and consequences. They challenge the limitations imposed by society's masculine undertones and explore their own identity through diverse artistic expressions. In addition to their creative endeavors, Adam has experience as an actor, creative director, and facilitator of interactive workshops and performances.
Rico Jacob Chace (He / Him) - Panellist
Rico is a speaker and consultant who advocates for intersectionality, trans/non-binary equality, and diversity and inclusion. He is a passionate activist fighting for LGBTQIA+ and Black rights. Rico began his career as a diversity consultant and gained recognition for his radio show and involvement in the BLM movement. He is currently a Director at TransActual UK.
