Best-selling authors Alice Slater and Rose Wilding are challenging the stereotypes of a genre, and we're hugely excited to be pairing them for an evening of conversation. Hosted by Bethany Rutter.
Alice Slater is a writer, editor and ex-bookseller from London. She co-hosts the literary podcast What Page Are You On?, and edited Outsiders: A Short Story Anthology (3 of Cups Press). Her fiction has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and appeared in Dear Damsels, Cunning Folk, and On Anxiety (3 of Cups Press). Her first novel DEATH OF A BOOKSELLER was an instant bestseller.
Rose Wilding is a queer, working class writer from Newcastle Upon Tyne. She has an MA in Creative Writing from The University of Manchester, where she was mentored by Jeanette Winterson. Her debut literary crime novel, SPEAK OF THE DEVIL, will be published in 2023.
Bethany Rutter is a writer and podcaster from southeast London. She is the author of three novels, Welcome to Your Life, Melt My Heart and No Big Deal, with two more novels released next year.
