Please join us on the 3rd of August for a guided workshop on forming and maintaining healthy queer relationships, created and facilitated by Connor Hardy.
About the workshop:
Healthy communities begin with healthy individual relationships! From romantic connections, sexual sparks, the warmth of friendship, and everything in between, we all face challenges when navigating conflict, communication, and connection. Embrace the intricacies of queer love of all kinds in an inclusive and intimate space. This workshop will cover a range of topics, including traits of healthy relationships, boundary-setting, consent, intimacy, and conflict resolution. Through group discussions, scenarios, and small group activities, we will work through common relationship challenges, questions, and healthier habits.
About the facilitator:
Connor Hardy (they/she) is an anti-violence and relationship educator of many years. Connor holds a Master’s in Conflict Transformation and Social Justice, is a trained Sexual Assault Counselor, and has worked with a number of queer advocacy organisations. They are a seasoned facilitator, having run workshops for audiences around the world on topics including gender, advocacy, and climate storytelling.
The workshop will take place in our downstairs event space. Please note that unfortunately this space is not currently wheelchair accessible.
If you have specific accessibility needs and would like to attend, please contact us at books@commonpress.co.uk and we will be happy to discuss your options with you.
