Is your bark worse than your bite? 🧛♀️
LOOSE CHANGE is back to kick off spooky season for our sophomore Halloween bash, and we want to see your FANGS & FUR! 🐺
Join us at twilight at our new spot, EartH Kitchen (Dalston), where no doubt there will be a few bumps in the night 👻
Whether you’re feeling campy and vampy or are more used to being on all fours, we can’t wait to see your spooky ooky look!
Our extra special DJs for the night are cabaret icon Archi (they/them) and drag extraordinaire Karma (she/her), joining forces to bring you hot beats, feel good feats and gorgeous gorgeous eurotrash! We will also be joined by the iconic Watcha (they/them) who, as well as co-running award-winning collective Queer House Party, is on SISU’s roster and recently launched Dance Against Deportations to a sell-out crowd at Avalon Cafe.
LOOSE CHANGE co-founders MADAME and Xyanide will be also slaying the decks on the night, giving all killer no filler 🩸
Our chosen charity for this event is the incredible Galop.
In 2022, the U.K. saw a 41 per cent increase in anti-LGB hate crimes and a 56 per cent increase in anti-trans hate crimes. And these are just the reported numbers.
Galop exists to support any queer victims of hate crime, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, conversion therapy or any other form of violence. It’s a privilege to support their work, in particular given the current climate they operate in.
LOOSE CHANGE is an inclusive space for all bodies. You do not have to be Buffy to slay!
Body shaming and discrimination are not welcome at our events. This includes biphobia, fatphobia, femmephobia, homophobia, lesbophobia, misogyny, racism, transphobia and any other form of bigotry.
If you are buying tickets for or bringing friends (in particular those new to spaces like ours), please ensure they know and are aligned with our values too 🩷
The toilets for this event are gender neutral. There are seated booths within the dance floor, and you do not need to leave the venue to access its smoking area. Unfortunately the venue is not fully accessible and does require stair use.
