Welcome to our improv taster session. Everyone is welcome, whether you are intrigued by the world of improv, liked drama at school or act or perform comedy and want to explore a new area!
In this taster session we’ll show you the basics of improv through a number of exercises and games. You’ll be working on positivity, collaboration, listening and playing with the imagination.
You'll discover how surprisingly easy it is to just say the obvious thing, support each other and then funny scenes happen! At Playface we focus on joy and comedy through play and a super supportive atmosphere - we’re going to have so much fun.
By the end of the class you’ll have a better understanding of what improv is, the formats it takes and where to take your improv or comedy journey after the course.
This class is great if you want to:
- Connect with others, improve your listening and build something together
- Have fun pretending to be plumbers, wizards and cats with other adults
- Dip your toe into the world of improv
Class size: 8-12
