A community event for the LGBTQs, to share experiences and connect with others in a casual and conversational setting.
****please make sure to note the new venue: Salt the Radish is a lovely café in Finsbury Park, North London.****
This month’s theme is TRANSFORMATION. You could share something about:::
Periods of change, periods of progress and development, newness, emerging after periods of reflection or quiet, something that moves you, something that inspired you to change, hormones, physical changes, mentality changes, the seasons, coming out, dancing, chrysalises, costumes and uniforms, dressing up, cutting your hair, dying your hair, experimenting with new looks, renovating, painting your bedroom walls, transitions, outfit changes, learning a new skill, teaching someone something, growing vegetables, all the things that come with aging, #growth, working on yourself, saturn’s returns….
Whatever connects you with transformation
Ordinary Stories is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and we welcome allies as audience members only.

Venue Information
Salt the Radish will have drinks and a small selection of snacks available to buy, we are also happy for visitors to bring food in during the event
There is a single step into the café and a ramp available to use
Unfortunately, space is limited within the café and, while there are no steps to the toilets, it is quite a small room and can just about fit a small wheelchair inside.
There is free parking on Blackstock Road, Monsell Road and Finsbury Park Road. The closest tube station is Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines, Northern City and Thameslink) and nearest overground is Crouch Hill, which is a 16 minute walk/13 minute bus ride to Salt the Radish
You can message us on instagram @_ordinarystories if you'd like any more info but please note we run this event in a volunteer capacity and may not always be able to respond
