Nature is Ours! - Walk +photography+poetry+campfire
Join Wanderers of Colour for our Nature is Ours event!
Nature Is Ours seeks to re-centre people of colour within nature and give space for us to explore our relationships to nature as they relate to themes of identity, community, joy, and wellbeing.
For this event we’ll be heading to Epping Forest, for a walk, workshop, and community get together! Whether you're a photography enthusiast, a poet at heart, walk lover, or just looking to connect with like-minded people, this event is for YOU. 🌍

How much does this event cost?
Thanks to funding from Slow Ways we are able to put on this event using a pay-what-you-can model. Please consider paying what you can afford as this supports us to continue to put on amazing events like this.
What to bring?
Yourself! Your friends! Check the weather before you arrive and dress accordingly. Wear warm clothes that you’re happy to walk in. You will need good sturdy shoes that are good for walking in nature. Bring a water bottle! Bring a raincoat, and if you don’t have one feel free to use our community WhatsApp group to ask amongst the community to borrow one.
Nervous about coming alone?
No worries! We understand how daunting it can be coming to an event on your own. Most of our attendees come to our event solo, and we’ll have lots of group activities to help connect you with others. On the day or before the event we can also buddy you up with another member, so you can connect before and during the workshop. Please reach out if that interests you.
