We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural Bradford Queer Film Festival taking place from November 23rd-26th.
Bradford Queer Film Festival is a celebration and a space for community to gather, celebrate and be inspired by the creative contributions of LGBTQIA+ creatives on and off screen. The programme features cult films, brand new releases, features, shorts and hidden gems. The programme features over 80 films from more than 30 countries and includes talks, socials and parties.
Bradford Queer Film Festival begins with a special opening night screening of ‘But I’m a Cheerleader' at The Light and ends with a special TBA screening at Kala Sangam. Screenings take place across the weekend at Fuse Art Space and Common Space in central Bradford with a special Saturday screening and cabaret at the Railway Social Club in collaboration with OUT OUT.
FUSE will act as the festival hub throughout the weekend and will be the location for collecting passes, purchasing merchandise and more.

Waged & Low/Unwaged Guidance
Bradford Queer Film Festival Weekend Passes are sold in two categories which we give more information on below. Please note individual day tickets which are tiered will go on sale in the coming weeks and these will include tickets at £0. We trust attendees and supporters of BQFF to purchase tickets at a price that reflects their circumstances and thank you for doing so in order for us to be able to offer free and discounted tickets. Please note the descriptions below are for guidance and each individual will have different circumstances.
Waged
Those who fit this criteria are comfortably able to meet their basic needs, you may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs such as housing and transport. You are able to buy new items and engage in leisure and cultural activities with expendable income.
Low & Unwaged
Those who fit this criteria may occasionally struggle to meet basic needs and have less expendable income or savings. This may be due to unemployment, precarious employment or other responsibilities.

Access
All venues for Bradford Queer Film Festival are step free, wheelchair accessible and have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. There are specific considerations for Common Space which has a lift to the bathroom that can
Fuse, Common Space are within 500 feet of one another and take approximately less than 5 minutes to go between. Paved access connects the venues.
All events where there are introductions or panel discussions will be interpreted in BSL. All films are shown with closed captions whether in English or any other language.
Common Space will be a dry venue for the duration of the festival and other dry events will be denoted in the programme or on their individual event pages.
