The Low-Key Social
A Sensory Friendly LGBTQ+ Space
Please join us for our first ever Low-Key Social, a social event catering to those in our community who have higher sensory sensitivities or who are neurodivergent. This event will take place at The Glitch in Waterloo, and will feature low-lighting, soft ambient music, and encourage a relaxed and inclusive environment. We ask that guests keep their voices low to keep sound levels manageable. We will have fidget and sensory toys, board and card games, and conversation cards. Guests are encouraged to bring items that will help them navigate the space with the most comfort - if you would like to bring a craft project, your nintendo switch, etc. please feel free to do so.
We have a group chat for this event, if you would like to make plans to meet up with people in advance.
Access: The Glitch is step-free and has an accessible toilet. If you need assistance using the cloakroom (basement level) please ask an event staff member when you check-in.
Last Entry: 11 PM
This event was previously called The Low-Key Kiki. We have chosen to change the name out of respect for the queer POC and ballroom culture community that originated the term.
