Margate punk duo pink suits are launching their Dystopian Hellscape UK tour at Tom Thumb Theatre in Margate on the 22nd March. It's the first time they are playing at Tom Thumb in many years and they are doing a special full album show to start their UK tour. This is a very meaningful show as it’s the first venue the band ever played at! So they’ll be playing their new album Dystopian Hellscape in its entirety, which will also be available to buy at the show alongside some brand new merchandise.
Inspired by the relentless over saturation of bleak news cycles, Dystopian Hellscape is a little more self-reflective, silly and sexy than its predecessor, political child, but it loses none of the band’s politically aggressive, anti-Tory, anti-Fascist, Feminist Queer Energy.
For those who have not seen pink suits play their punk music live before, they combine the epic riffs-and-beats-duo combo of The White Stripes, with all the ferocious riot grrrl energy of Bikini Kill, plus a healthy dose of Peaches-inspired inhibitionless queer joy, pink suits offer something completely unique: an immense formidable force, tinged with an infectious vibrant spirit and colourful charisma. Raging, yet uplifting; punk anthems that we need now more than ever.
An incomparable immense experience to witness live, pink suits have previously shared stages with the likes of Bob Vylan, Panic Shack, Big Joanie, Lambrini Girls and The Menstrual Cramps, and have received acclaim from publications such as Louder Than War and The Bristol Gig Guide.
