Lineup (in no particular order):
Lotus:
As a traumatised and deeply afflicted human, I felt the positive urge to indulge in work that’d help me unshackle from the chains of gender constructs with held by my family who were colonised and displaced by British Empire. My family always generated a narrative of slut shaming however due to my close bond with my grandmother I realised she is just myself but a whole few generations before. She loved to sing and dance and perform but was met w slut shaming by her mother for this.
Ocarina:
OCARINA is a QTIPOC popstar, producer and poet; performing original songs about their experiences. A Friday 13th born Leo putting the style in disorganised attachment style, here to get you crying, dancing and singing as part of their orchestra.
Elameno:
Elameno’s poetry is a creative dive into their visceral introspection, exploring the radical depths of love, trauma and revolution. They offer cunning reflections into their life as a queer, non-binary person of colour, translating these experiences into captivatingly animated performances.
Miz Lexia:
Miz lexia is a unapologetically nonconforming being; a demonic contortion of drag gorleque and circuitry. A completely demonic unapologetic force holding up and taking a stand for their beloved community. Expect: POC, LGBTQIA+, ACAB messages mixed in with a distortion of gorleque , contortion, drag, and dark carnival clownary
RabiraRabira is a 22 year old spoken word poet, activist and avid Leona Lewis lover. They started their writing journey in Brighton, speaking about racism, decolonial thought and queer identity. They have produced multiple POC focused drag shows, a fundraiser for Palestine and soon a club night! They are incredibly excited to be part of this important night 💗
