There's no place like Pride in London!
Looking to make this year's pride your most memorable to date? Then come on and ease on down the parade route with us as we bring the magic of Oz to the streets of London! Join us as we march together in solidarity, celebration and protest.
We will be marking our 40th ruby anniversary in style, by clicking our slippers three times with a fabulous ‘METRO’s Wonderful Land of Oz theme'!
All are welcome to join, and it is free to participate. The parade lasts approximately and hour and a half from start to finish, with some expected wait time before we move off.
Our meeting point is yet to be determined, however, will be close to Park Lane, between Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner stations.
Please note, if you do not collect your wristband from a member of the METRO Charity team at the designated time and location once agreed (further details to come), you will not be able to join the parade. This ticket is not your pass into the parade, however, will reserve your spot to ensure you can take part in the fabulous fun and solidarity! Please do allow yourself plenty of time to reach the meeting point, as central London and the parade form-up will be very busy, with many roads closed and diversions in place.
Please note we are a walking group, so you will need to be comfortable walking the entire route, the organisers do not allow participants to move in or out of the parade once we move off. The parade will end at Whitehall Place.
Please note, filming and photography will be taking place throughout the parade. If you do not wish to appear in these, please see a member of our team to collect a lanyard with reflective sticker.
This event is supported by Clarion Housing Group.
