“The faggots' fantasies are about love and sex and solidarity.
The men's fantasies are about control and domination and winning.
The faggots move towards the limits of living in the body
for they have known body ecstasy and want to live there with everyone always.”
Larry Mitchell, The Faggots and their Friends Between Revolutions, 1977
Calling all faggots and their friends!
For our next cabaret & afterparty we are manifesting the queer utopia of Larry Mitchell’s part-fable, part-manifesto ‘The Faggots and their Friends Between Revolutions’ bringing together in solidarity, the faggots, the women, the queens, the queer men, and the women who love women, who are surviving the ways and world of men.
For this special edition of Queer Theory, we will be incorporating Mystika Glamoor’s solo show ‘Between Revolutions’ into the cabaret.
