On night two of Queer As In Fuck U, we've joined forces with our comrades at Tissue to bring you a rare screening of the legendary Bruce LaBruce's delirious piece of hardcore agitprop, The Raspberry Reich (2004).
Taking their cues from the Baader-Meinhof Gang, a ragtag gay militia kidnaps the son of a wealthy industrialist in order to further their fight against fascism, heterosexuality, and bourgeoise life.
Radical, satirical, funny, and deliciously messed up, LaBruce's battlecry against respectability politics, censorship, and gay assimilation plays like a punk rock song belted into a double-ended dildo, and twenty years later it still demands to be seen.
Joining us to introduce the film will be writer, artist, and co-curator at Tissue, Sam Moore.
Find us salivating in the bowels of Dalston Superstore for a work by one of queer cinema's greats.
