Once a month we come together at Spitalfields City Farm, spend the day at the farm and then feast in the evening, and this month we have Queer Platonic Coparenting coming down to introduce us to Platonic Coparenting for those who wanna know more!
Meet other people interested in queer platonic coparenting, and spend time with animals and eat some food in the Safari Tent. Join when you like - but here is the schedule:
- 2pm - Farm time
- 3pm - Queer Platonic Coparenting Workshop
- 5pm - Community Meal
- 7pm - Tidy up together
What is farm time?
- Wander around, say hi to the animals, take in the gardens, chill in the cafe area
- Help out on the farm (wear clothes & shoes that can get muddy)
- Chill reading/knitting/drawing/crafting at the farm for the vibes
- Help me with the cooking for the feast!
Help with the feast is always welcome! This looks like chopping and peeling veg. Making salads. Stirring and watching the pot. Tidying/ washing up. Please wash your plates and bowls when you are finished with them 🥰
We will be providing plenty of food, using some farm food to make some lovely vegan GF dishes
If you can please bring your own dishes to add to the table. (especially desserts!)
* AT 4:30PM THE FARM GATES ARE LOCKED SO ARRIVE BEFORE THEN! *
THE FEAST TAKES PLACE IN A TENT STRUCTURE SO IT CAN BE CHILLY - please dress warm for the evening temperatures <3
FARM DAY
For the farm day think fun community vibes, enjoying nature, helping out or having a slow day. For the feast think lovely, cosy, nourishing vibes - coming together with our community to break bread, feel the love and make connections.
We will be providing plenty of food, using some farm food to make some lovely vegan GF dishes - but if you can, please bring your own dishes to add to the table. (especially desserts!)
Donations are very welcome but if you can't donate, we still want you at the event!
