Upstairs is giving pure queer utopian joy with London’s favorites UOKHUN (RITA LIN b2b Victoria Peckham) and Queer House Party residents Harry Gay and Watcha with a closing set by XOXA’s Kandylion. Hosts and dancers Bolly-Illusion and Taali will captivate the bar area bringing the high queer energy that London's party scene is known for.
Downstairs in the rave cave get lost in a recreation of a NYC queer dance floor with XOXA residents Panooc and Kandylion (coming all the way from NYC) pulling from their extensive music collections of east coast house, acid and vocal house. These two seasoned DJs who have inspired and turned up dance floors all over New York for years with their high energy and heart pumping dance music. Joining them is London’s own Reece Spooner - a Balammi resident whose genre fluid sets are the perfect embodiment of NYC’s diverse dance floor sound. From jackin’ house, acid and techno to ghetto, jersey club, electro, UK bass, breakbeat, footwork and modern-day rave, his palette is wide, heady and leans nicely on the anthems.
XOXA is a platform, party and DJ collective based out of NYC with a worldwide reach. Their mission is to support and highlight artists in the electronic music scene while providing an intentional space for dancers and partygoers. XOXA works closely with DJs spanning genres, scenes, countries and backgrounds all with the common goal of uplifting and unifying marginalized artists.
