This is a 3-day workshop series of movement exploration, risk taking, improvisation, and performance practices. It prepares the participants to continually find fresh ways of approaching movement material with surprise, curiosity, and rigor. All sessions will begin with an improvisational warmup before moving into my physical explorations of space, the body, and language, facilitated through Oluwaseun Olayiwola's choreo-poetic. These sessions are suitable for anyone meaning with loads of dance experience or little to none. We encourage participants to commit to all of the following dates but it is not mandatory.
Event Dates:
- Sunday, April 14
- Sunday, April 21
- Sunday, April 28
