AFLO. will share some of her work as well as some tips, and participants will leave with some more creative tools and confidence to poetically share their queer expression.

AFLO. the poet (she/they) is an award-winning Brighton-based spoken word artist, activist, and academic who embraces creative expression to disrupt the status quo and inspire social change.
AFLO. primarily speaks from her lived experiences, focusing particularly on mental health, social Injustice, and decolonial thought.

QUEERCALL is an LGBTQIA+ Festival of Art produced by Ash McNaughton and commissioned by Marlborough Productions New Queers On The Block artist development programme, with support from University for the Creative Arts, Creative Folkestone, Screen South, The Coast Is Queer, and funding from Arts Council England.
The festival will feature Live Art performances, durational site-specific Performance Art, Exhibitions, Talks, & workshops across the Creative Quarter in Folkestone.
