Raze Collective presents LABS - An Evening of new performance
Wednesday 29th May at Stanley Arts,
Doors at 7pm
Show at 7:30pm
Raze Collective presents a trio of new works, from three of the most exciting queer performance makers in the UK. Elle Fierce, Wet Mess & Mr IPM present extracts of new work, developed as part of the Let Us Raze You LABS artist development programme. Across and between the mediums of drag, dance, new writing, live music, film & comedy, join us at Stanley Arts from this one of a kind evening of experimental queer performance.
“a night of brilliant works totally unafraid and unapologetic in their approaches” Dance Art Journal
Raze Collective is a charity dedicated to nurturing and developing innovative queer performance in the UK. We create cultural opportunities for LGBTQIA+ artists, audiences and the wider public. We value the diversity of the queer cultural scene and work with artists, producers and organisations who share our values and ethos. Raze was formed by grassroots performers, producers & audience members in the face of the closure of LGBTQIA+ venues. We're called Raze as the organisation was established in response to those queer spaces being razed.
This project is supported by Arts Council England.
