Join us on Friday 10th May at The Vagina Museum for an evening of fresh and exciting cabaret performances from sex worker artists featuring comedy, burlesque, poetry, dance, and more. Followed by April Fiasco’s solo show stand-up show about stigma, sex work, and society.
Around 4 performers will be taking to the stage and trying something new, or maybe something old with a new twist. An evening of works in progress, experimental ideas, and genre-defying pieces. Uncensored, unfiltered, and unrestrained by convention and perfection.
About April’s Solo Show: Too often sex workers are written about and talked about without any input from actual sex workers, but April is here to tell you the truth - the good, the bad, and the hilarious. From how the laws affect us to how she once did a domme session while listening to Abba. Sex workers are heavily marginalised and stigmatised, and this needs to end. So come into her vagina (museum) and learn (and laugh) about the oldest profession in the world. Previous audience feedback: "Personable, warm, friendly, and educational" "I loved it!" "I was interested throughout and laughed a lot!"
Doors open 7.30pm. Show starts 8pm.
