Elisabeth Elektra
Elisabeth Elektra is an alt pop artist who creates a singular sonic and visual world; one that you definitely want to be part of. Based in Glasgow, Elektra blends strong hypnotic vocals, analogue synths and weighty drums, to create music that is as anthemic as it is empowering.
Elektra has a gift for writing memorably melodic pop songs. Always distinctively her own, while feeling universally all of ours, Elektra’s songs explore themes of femme desire, queer sexuality, personal freedom and self actualisation.
Elektra is set to release her highly anticipated second album in 2024. Her latest EP ‘Broken Promises’ received widespread press support from NME, Stereogum, Clash, The New Cue amongst others. The New Cue described the title track Broken Promises as “An industrial art-rock anthem”.
Singles ‘The Dream’ and Broken Promises both received 6 Music, Absolute Radio, Radio X and Amazing Radio support, with Chris Hawkinsat 6 Music describing Broken Promises as “A dramatic, dark electropop whirlwind”.
ROOO
ROOO is the augmented projection of a London-based artist experimenting with dark electronic and pop archetypes: through intimate vocals, non-conventional songwriting and meticulous sound-design, ROOO channels social anxiety, sexuality, and over-dramatized obsessions.
Giora
Giora, a London-born singer, songwriter, and producer whose music blurs the boundaries of pop, their soft hard approach allowing them to fluidly transition between acoustic and club sounds.
They released their debut album 'It's So Quiet But I Hear You' on their own label, Holypop, in November 2023 and have emerged as a dynamic live performer from the experimental and queer music scenes in London and Athens.
For Giora, creating pop music is a transcendental experience—a profound connection to something greater that goes beyond any existing system of belief. It's an encounter with the boundless energy that permeates the universe, evoking a sense of the sacred. Through their innovative blend of electronic, pop, and classical influences, Giora invites listeners to embark on a sonic odyssey, where timeless melodies intertwine with cutting-edge sounds, resulting in a musical tapestry that is both ethereal and epic.
In May 2024, Giora will be curating Holypop at The Divine (London) platforming live sound and music creators from the queer community.
ASHTREY (DJ)
ASHTREY is a DJ based in London. Coming from a mixed background her sound reflects just that. ASHTREY grew up with an array of music surrounding her, mainly hip-hop and garage which is what sparked her interest to mix. Now she ranges from fun and bouncy tunes to hard-techno, and you’ll see from her sets she never stops moving, believing that having fun is the main priority and you should love what you play.
