Wild London Herbs & Their Medicinal Uses
SUNDAY 5TH MAY 2024 @ 2:00 - 4:30 PM - with HACKNEY HERBAL at SUTTON HOUSE
Hackney Herbal is a social enterprise promoting wellbeing through herbs. They specialise in creative workshops and events which connect and inspire people about plants and the natural world.
WORKSHOP: Whether sprouting through cracks in the pavement, growing on rooves, or clinging to walls - London is full of wild plants, many of which have medicinal uses. With Nat Mady from Hackney Herbal, we will be exploring an overlooked patch of wild ground in Sutton Place, and identifying the wild plants there. Then we will explore the medicinal uses of London's wild plants and make herbal teas at Sutton House.
VENUE: Sutton House and Breaker's Yard, 2 and 4 Homerton High Street, Hackney, London, E9 6JQ
