Recharge for Survivors
Sold Out
Join us for a workshop by the Museum of Homelessness crew all about complex trauma.
This workshop is designed for trauma survivors who want to build solutions outside the mental health system. Led by qualified MoH trauma conscious coaches, this gentle session will offer a nurturing and supportive space for people who have experienced trauma.
About the workshop
In this workshop we use our precious objects. Each object represents a story of survival and creative resistance. The wisdoms embedded in these objects provide the perfect entry point for understanding how our community relates to the traumatising systems we find ourselves in. Through an irreverent approach that doesn’t take itself too seriously, we use the objects to explore our felt sense, identify and share methods for safety, swap survival skills, and work with the central nervous system.
People who come too Recharge are not expected to share personal histories and we also have a quiet room/break out space for people. We will the session in our main downstairs space which is fully accessible.
