Free filmscreening at @theoldnunshead
Monday 29th April.
7.20 pm: Monsterdykë
7.30 pm: Go Fish
MonsterDykë:
A transgressive portrait of desire shot on 16mm, Monsterdykë examines trans-lesbian love and longing with humour, heat, puppetry and a subversive twist.
Starts out with a quote from tumblr about monster fuckers and only gets better from there.
Go Fish:
Max is a trendy, pretty, young lesbian, who is having trouble finding love. A friend sets her up with Ely, whom Max likes, but Ely is frumpy, homely, and older. Nor do they have much in common. Can Max learn to look past the packaging?
Go Fish is a 1994 American comedy drama film written by Guinevere Turner and Rose Troche
Accessibility:
Please note although the Old Nuns Head itself is wheelchair accessible, the upstairs function room in which the filmscreening is being held unfortunately is not.
