Our Queer Hiking Group for queer migrants and queer people of colour heads to a new trail each month, and for May, we’re heading to Box Hill!
On Saturday 11th May, we’ll be running our next organised small group hike around The Box Hill Circuit - an eight-mile circular walk within the North Downs, part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This is a moderately challenging hike with some difficult ascents and descents that we may need to take slowly, as well as plenty of steps, some muddy sections, and one stile. We may also be facing wet or windy weather on the day.
The hike will take around 6-7 hours, with time allocated for breaks and lunch, and once again, we’ll be led by an experienced hiker and mountain leader trainee.
Travel to and from London is covered, but places are limited, so please sign up!
This event is being run by The Love Tank, as part of the Maureen Project.

The takes a holistic approach to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of queer migrant men and queer men of colour living in London, through research, coproduction, training and a range of events throughout the year.
